Mark Gregston has been helping parents and teens for more than 40 years. He is the founder and executive director of Heartlight, a residential counseling center for teens, which has helped more than 2,500 struggling adolescents.

JOEL SALATIN

Joel co-owns, with his family, Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia. He teaches farming and homesteading in natural ways that promote quality, godly stewardship, and regeneration of the earth.

KRISTEN SMITH

Kristen is an herbalist and aromatherapist who believes natural health is a blessing from God that you can start enjoying right now, one simple step at a time. Learn how to make and use natural remedies in her column, “A Better Way to Thrive.”

Rooted in Faith: The Journey of Plain Values Magazine

Plain Values Magazine was crafted out of the desire to create a faith-centered simple living magazine for the whole family.

Over the years, the magazine has grown as readers across the nation outside of the Amish community have become subscribers. Plain Values has a curated group of monthly writers to bring forth a magazine hearkening back to the days of neighbors having deep connections to their roots and deep conversations on the front porch.
